This filter is ideal for use in the main water line supplying an automatic watering system. It has a 200mesh (80micron) filter which will remove the very fine sand that can cause drinking valves to leak. The sediment collected on the screen in the filter can be easily flushed out by opening the ball valve at the bottom of the filter bowl, without having to take the filter apart to clean and/or replace the screen. This model has Female Garden Hose Threads on the inlet and Male Garden Hose Thread on the outlet.
